Dinner, Dance & Awards Tickets 2020



Tickets are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and every year run out in advance of the evening itself. There is no limit to how many tickets each person/group can purchase – but there is a maximum of 100 available to buy.

If you are lucky enough to be nominated in February, you will receive one free ticket. At this time, you can add the ticket to your party, or, we will happily refund you for one of the tickets already purchased. 

Please highlight any Dietary Requirements at time of order in the ‘Additional Notes’ section of the Checkout, so we can respect these. If this isn’t possible, please send this information as soon as possible to info@mymirfield.co.uk. The menu is in the description below.

The MyMirfield Dinner, Dance & Awards Fundraisers were launched in 2015 – with the first evening held on Friday 17th April at Sands Lane Golf Club, Mirfield. The event was to celebrate all things Mirfield, help raise the profile of businesses and organisations, increase interaction across the town, and to have a bit of fun. This has grown over the years and is an evening packed full of entertainment and fun, whilst raising funds for local good causes.

The 2020 black-tie event will be held on Saturday 28th March – opening at 6pm with a sparkling reception, followed by a four-course meal, a celebrations of many things Mirfield, the awards, fundraising, and end of the evening live entertainment. The evening will close around 12.30am.

Sparkling Reception & Photographs
Guests will be welcomed from 6pm with a Sparkling Reception – provided by James Whitehead Plumbing and Heating – and Red Carpet Photographs.
Welcome & Celebration Dinner
Guests will be asked to take their seats from 6.45pm for the Opening Entertainment and Welcome – followed by the Three Course Celebration Dinner and table-top entertainment. The menu will be:

– Roast Butternut Squash, Sweet Potato, Coconut and Chilli Soup (V, VE, GF)
– Roasted Salmon Fillet with Spinach Potato Cake and Watercress Veloute
– Dark Chocolate Tart with fresh raspberries and orange cream (V).

The 2020 Awards Presentation
The evening will recognise several of the Mirfield-based businesses, events and organisations that continue to make a positive contribution to the residents or community of Mirfield.
Fundraising & Auction
As well as the celebrations, the evening is intended to also be a fundraiser, with proceeds being split between two causes – firstly to help the local good causes – and secondly to help generate funds for future MyMirfield projects, events and initiatives to support the town. Both are intended to provide cheer for residents, whilst encouraging more business into town at a critical part of the trading year.
Live Entertainment
There will be ongoing entertainment throughout the evening – building up the star attraction – the live music at the end of the night. This year we welcome a fun evening of 7-s and 80s favorites from the ‘On Show’ girls. So grab your leg warmers and step back in time.
Close & Carriages
If you wish to stay over at the Cedar Court, Bradford – the hotel has offered all our guests a reduced rate for Bed & Breakfast. You need to book with the hotel direct and tell them you are attending the MyMirfield Dinner & Awards on Saturday 28th March. The rate will be subject to availability.

Tickets will be available from January on a first-come, first-served basis. The venue holds 250 guests and all tickets regularly sell out within the first few weeks.

PLEASE NOTE: If the evening is forced to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances or events outside the organisers control, then the evening will be re-arranged for another date, with all tickets remaining valid.  If this becomes not possible, refunds will be based on what expenses have already been incurred. This is a not for-profit event, organised by volunteers for the good of the community and in aid of local good causes.
